Senior Testing Engineer

Seeking a seasoned professional to lead testing activities on high-voltage substation projects across Saudi Arabia. The role demands a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and six to ten years of hands-on work with protection systems on 33kV, 132kV and 380kV installations plus overhead lines. You will plan and execute relay tests, refine protection schemes and settings, and operate numerical and static relays alongside IEDs, SCADA and SAS platforms. Familiarity with GIS, AIS, medium-voltage switchgear, power and auxiliary transformers, reactors, capacitor banks, surge arresters and OHTL parameters is essential. Strong command of busbar, underground cable, transformer protection, AC/DC auxiliary systems, fault recorders and SOE, together with advanced test gear from ABB, GE, Siemens and Schneider, will set you apart. Prior HV/EHV substation and power project exposure is mandatory for this challenging site-based position.
