We are looking for an early-career engineer to support testing and commissioning teams on major power infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and bring three to five years of practical exposure to protection systems within 33kV, 132kV and 380kV substations as well as overhead line projects. Day-to-day duties include carrying out relay tests, adjusting protection schemes and settings, and working with numerical and static relays, IEDs, SCADA and SAS tools. You should be comfortable testing GIS, AIS, medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, reactors, capacitor banks, surge arresters and OHTL parameters. Understanding of busbar, underground cable, transformer protection, AC/DC auxiliary systems, fault recorders and SOE is expected, along with proficiency in advanced test equipment and software from ABB, GE, Siemens and Schneider. Previous HV/EHV substation and power project background is required, and the role offers strong career growth on world-class projects.
